Tsunami Rose Designs - Star Calender

Happy Monday everyone!
It is very hot here in Southwestern Ontario
but I love it.
I had my second knee replacement three weeks ago
today and it went very well.
It has kept me from scrapbooking a little but I
am starting to get back into it.
Today I am posting for Tsunami Rose Designs.
I have made for you a star calender.
It is a very cool idea. I am going to take the
idea a little farther in a few weeks and
finish making this star calender into a mini album
when you done with the calender.
I will make a video when I am done but for
now here is the star calender.
I knew as soon as I saw these calender pieces I knew
I was going to make this star calender.

Digital Journal Card - Big Elements #1 Calendar #5

There is a few different ones so you can mix and match.

There is a lot of pictures.

Here is my star calender from the top.
I used cheesecloth and wooden pieces and
lots of little pearls for dimension.

I put the calender pieces on the bottom so you
can put pictures or journalling on the top.

On some of the pages I layered the flowers and inked
them so they would stand out.

I used yellow to accent all the colours this time to
show how versatile Daisy's designs are..
I also embossed every page.

Aren't the flowers just gorgeous!!!

You can't really see from here but I made a pocket
out of every page in the calender.
In the future I will do a video of the mini album
I am making with this star calender.

I took a close up so you could see the layers and see
how pretty these flowers really are...
I can see making so many things with these....
Can't wait...

Check out Daisy's shop and you will find so
many gorgeous printable images you will want
them all... and you can
because they are so affordable!

Tsunami Rose Designs - Hummingbird Folio

Today I am going to show you a very cool folio I made.
I used Tsunami Rose Designs Hummingbird Kits

I love hummingbirds so this month's design team project
is one of my favourites!
I love every single one of Daisy's hummingbird kits.
(Actually I really love all of Daisy's printable goodies)

Here is my folio..
It is a very cool design.
It is from Mel B.  Gatefold Folio Album
(Country Craft Creations)
I used a magnet closure for this album.
You can also tuck the corner behind the twine bow.
I made flowers with my cricut and rubbed ink
on them for some pops of colour.
I added flat flowers under the paper flowers
for dimension and colour.

As  you will see in the next pictures the hummingbird
digital papers are amazing. They are so vivid and
just so beautiful.

Here is the back of my folio..
I just love the postcards.
I can see making so many different cards and
goodies with these.

               Aren't the hummingbirds just gorgeous!!!!

Look at all these wonderful hummingbirds.
I chose this folio so I could use so many
of the different hummingbirds.
The middle is a waterfall feature.

This folio is for Words of Wisdom.
Add your own also.

These are side booklets.
I also used embossing folders.

Tsunami Rose Designs - Kitten Memoirs Tags

Happy Wednesday!
Today I am posting for Tsunami Rose Designs!
I made for you three very cool tags made
with Daisy's digital paper.
It's called Kitten Memoirs.
I absolutely love this digital paper.
The kittens and cats are so darn cute.
And as you know I LOVE digital paper
because I can use the ones I love over and over again..

Check out this beautiful cat paper that I made into a
3-D tag.. I used homemade texture paste to make the leaves
The flowers and twine are from my stash.
I got some cute doillies from the dollar store and I
added a brad to it...
Happy Birthday is a die cut.
This is my rustic tag.

Here is my elegant, blingy tag.
This cat just had to have jewels and flowers.
It said to me lots and lots of bling.
All the flowers and jewels are from my stash.

I love the simplicity of this tag..
I added thanks with homemade texture paste.
Don't you just love that cute milk tag on it.
I love the playful kittens on the paper.
The flowers and the bling are from my stash.
I also added homemade texture paste under the paper also
for a multi-dimensional look.

Hope you enjoy the tags as much as I did making them..

Tsunami Rose Designs - Kitten Memoirs

Today I am posting for Tsunami Rose Designs
For my design team project I chose tags....
I thought they would be cute for birthday presents.
And they are the cutest!
It is full of tags and pockets and journalling pieces.
I just love this pack as there is the cutest little kittens,
there is old fashioned kittens and there are cats.
You could make the most amazing things with this kit
I can see a folio in my future and likely a cute mini album
as my daughter loves cats.

The patterned paper under the kitten pocket is adorable
with milk jugs and such.
This paper is very versatile. As you see I have made 4 very different tags.
And if you come back and check out my blog on May 9th I will have
3 more that are very different...
On this first tag I used a gorgeous little rose from my stash.
The happy birthday is a die cut.
I added a cute ticket from the kit to the kitten pocket.
The dot ribbon is from my stash.
I think this kitten is my very favourite.

Isn't he just adorable!

Look at these kittens all dressed up with
those cute bonnets...
These came already made as tags and I just
matted them and added jewels and flowers.

Love love love these kittens!

And for this tag I added the Happy Birthday die cut.
I added the heart with the cats (it came in the kit like that!)
I added stickles here and there.

The best thing about this kit is you can get it right now
and you can print the pages out over and over again..
I love digital kits because a lot of them are my favourite papers
and now I don't have to hoard them anymore.
I can use them over and over again...

Tsunami Rose Designs - Easter Basket

Happy Friday!
Today I am showing you an Easter Basket
made with heavy cardboard and digital papers.
Today my Easter Basket is made with digital papers
Daisy has the most amazing digital papers
and her prices are just as amazing...
Check it out!!!!

This Easter Basket was made with Easter Blessings
Journalling Digital Kit Part 1

I made the original basket with cereal boxes.
Hot glued everything together and added pearls.
I had to use some other paper to make the rosettes
as my printer only prints 8x1/2x11 and they are long.
I can only imagine if I had a 12 x 12 printer
I would never have to buy paper again..
I could use Daisy's digital papers all the time.

I love this kit as you can use it for so many different
types of Easter projects...
There is religious pieces and subtle pieces like
the paper I used on the side of the basket.
And there is just fun pieces..
(Check out my cards in my last blog post.)

Check out this envelope that I made into a
Gift Card Holder...
that bunny is just adorable.

Tsunami Rose Design Team Post - more cards!

Today I am posting some cards I made for Tsunami Rose Designs.
Daisy has the most beautiful printables out there!
I love her papers and you will love the prices!
Today I have for you 3 cards. I used a mixture of papers on
the cards. I used some papers from different journal kits and
they all go together so well...

I do have to warn you this post is picture heavy.....lots and lots of pictures!!!!

The first card is a Center Stair Step Card.
I also used Rose Notecards Junk Journal Kit for the flowers.
I printed a whole page of them , then coloured them and layered.
I think they are my favorite flowers.

I used the New Beginnings papers layered to add
dimension to this card. The tag is part of the journal kit.
I added pink sparkly gems to the flowers and added
pearls and lace to the card.
The Mr & Mrs is computer generated.

My second card is a Four Fold Card.
You can find the tutorial here
Thanks to Lyssa Griffin Zwolanke!
I had never made one before this but I love it because
it showcases many papers in the kit.
Ephemera Set #14  (the feather)

I added some CTMH ribbon as a belly band.

I love the stunning colours of this kit..They make
this card pop. The feather from the  Ephemera Kit #14
goes perfectly with the Polished Lachluster Kit.
I added CTMH blue and pink ribbon here and there and
black jewels to add dimension.

"Love" is a memory box die.
This card is a wedding card but can be made
into a little wedding day album. I added the tag into
the envelope holder. It can be used for journalling on the back
Add pictures throughout the card.

I added lace here and there.
The saying on the tag is computer generated.
Thanks Kimberly for the saying!

My third card is a Tri-Shutter card.
It is one of my favorite types of fancy fold card.
This card is made with Life Abloom Rose Journal Kit
It is also made with the Rose Notecards Printable Journal
(Rose Ephemera)

The Rose Ephemera is perfect for this card and goes
great with the Life Abloom papers.
I have made another wedding card.

A metal corner accents the paper.
Mr & Mrs is cut from the cricut.
I added light pink lace and a dragonfly charm.
I also added butterflies and some gems.

Hope you enjoyed my cards as much as I did making them..
